During the winter time, a lot of people would enjoy being in the shopping malls instead of hanging out in the cold outdoors. Finding an expensive shop or an upscale boutique is very easy in the major shopping malls in the city. Big brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry are all along the Andrassy Avenue. Others like Max Mara, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss can be found on the Fashion Street near Deak Ferenc utca. If you enjoy shopping in European style on popular shopping streets, you may also consider visiting the Rakoczi ut or even the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca. For contemporary designers shops, you can consider checking out the Kiraly utca for fun stuffs.
For souvenirs shopping, there are larger malls. You can find shops like Timberland, Nike, Adidas, Saxoo London, Nautica, Mango, Helly Hansen, Levi's, New Yorker, Gant etc. There is also cinemas, supermarket, media Markt and many specialized shops for books, shoes and music.
The major malls are WestEnd City Center, Corvin, Arena Plaza, Mammut, Allee, MOM Park to name a few.
The new mall Allee Budapest is located near the Petöfi bridge and you can easily get there by the tram 4 if you are going by public transportation. If you are traveling with babies, it is better that you get there by car. Normally, the malls have a multi-storey car park that charges by the hour. In the bigger malls such as Westend City Center, Arena, MOM Park, you can find child friendly facilities such as baby diaper changing stations.

Look out for the Baba-Mama Szoba (which means Baby and Mother's Room) as it is great for moms who are still nursing the baby. You can breast feed your baby in privacy as there are two rooms specially for this purpose. The rooms are equip with sink to facilitate a hygienic change of diapers for your baby. You can wash your hands after putting away the soiled diaper. Then resting on the comfortable nursing chair, at the same time resting your feet!
